DC fans believe that the recently released picture of Henry Cavill in the black Superman suit is photoshopped.
Zack Snyder has been spending quite a bit of time releasing unseen and unused footage from his cut of Justice League. Recently, he sent DC fans in a frenzy when he released a photograph of Henry Cavill in the much touted black Superman suit. DC fans had been hoping that we would get to see Henry Cavill in the black Superman suit on the big screen, but unfortunately that wish never came true until Zack Snyder released a photograph.
Now, DC fans over on the DC Cinematic subreddit are thinking that the picture showcasing Henry Cavill’s black Superman suit was an edit. You can check out the Reddit post, as well as the picture of Henry Cavill in the black Superman suit alongside a fake one below.

In the comments, DC fans are suggesting that the picture posted of Henry Cavill doesn’t match up as the lighting on his face doesn’t make logistical sense with the pure blackness of the Superman suit. Supposedly, the lighting is off, but that’s just a few thoughts a couple of DC fans have. Other DC fans are suggesting that the black Superman suit was never complete to begin with and that it was touched up in the photograph we received of Henry Cavill. Regardless of the visual authenticity of this Henry Cavill photograph, it’s good to know that Zack Snyder was confident enough to post a picture of him in the black Superman suit!
