One fan collected all of the final moments from the DC films over the last five years and it paints a fascinating portrait of the franchise.
The current continuity of DC films began in 2013 with Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. Over the past five years, more films have joined the franchise, some directed by Snyder and some directed by other directors such as David Ayer, Patty Jenkins, and James Wan. One fan decided to take the final shot of Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, Justice League, and Aquaman to form a fascinating collage of the franchise’s storytelling.
One fan on Reddit who goes by the awesome username *Lex Luthor noises* decided to form this collage and for fans of the franchise, it paints quite the interesting picture of what DC and their storytellers were trying to do at the time of each film’s release. Check out the fascinating collage in the post below.
The collage illustrates how carefully planned each final shot is and with the Man of Steel image, it shows the fresh-faced Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) showing up for his place at the Daily Planet, much as the film was DC’s first foray into a connected universe of films. Then, with Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad fans can see a more bittersweet time in the franchise, where Superman has died and the Joker (Jared Leto) is still causing chaos around the country, specifically at Belle Reve in this scene. Finally, the three most recent films reflect the rise of the iconic heroes in a new light, ready to take on whatever trouble comes their way.
