A variety of stills from Mission: Impossible – Fallout showcasing Henry Cavill’s infamous mustache hit the internet this past week and as expected, DC fans couldn’t help but voice their frustrations towards the mustache that was responsible for one of Justice League’s biggest criticisms.
A quick recap if you’ve forgotten: Mission: Impossible – Fallout studio Paramount refused to let Henry Cavill shave off his mustache for Justice League reshoots, which meant that Warner Bros. and DC had to hastily apply CGI to Superman’s face to delete it. Once the film came out, audiences and critics couldn’t help but criticise how awkward Cavill’s face looked in many scenes.
The Mission: Impossible – Fallout image, which shows Henry Cavill walking away from Angela Basset’s character drew a ton of backlash from DC fans who blamed the latest action film for running Justice League. As expected, memes and criticisms were galore on Twitter!
The biggest troll ever would be if Cavill's character shaves his mustache in the first shot of the film. https://t.co/7lTzz5mwWr

It still would've been the greatest troll move towards Warner Bros. and Justice League on Paramount's part if Mission: Impossible Fallout needed reshoots and they told Henry Cavill he now needed to shave the mustache.
