DC Releases Official Look At Krypto The Superdog On ‘Titans’

It seems that Titans will be increasing its roster for the next season as DC has released its first official full look at Krypto the Superdog.

The character made a surprise after-credits cameo in the season finale along with Superboy. In the scene, Superboy could be seen in a facility with bodies all around him approaching a cage. He then rips the door of the cage open revealing a dog with glowing red eyes before the screen cuts to black.

You can see the full, official look below:

From the look of things, Titans will be adding a canine companion for the next season who just might be stronger then all the Titans combined.

Krypto has been Superman’s longtime animal companion throughout the character’s existence. He originally appeared in Adventure Comics #210 and has been a reoccurring ally to the Man of Steel in various forms ever since. But at long last, after being around for nearly sixty years, we will be seeing the character in live action.

What did you all make of this reveal? Are you eager to see Krypto in live action? Does Titans have the special effect budget to make such an animal believable? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and a team of heroes.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson/Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r/Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth/Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan/Beast Boy.

The entire first season of Titans is now available exclusively on DC Universe. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Titans as we learn it.
