After two days of controversy over the casting of Zazie Beetz as Domino in the upcoming Deadpool 2, the merc with a mouth himself was seen Tuesday in Vancouver casually hanging out from a parachute for a stunt as production continues for the titular anti-hero’s sequel.
Not much is seen in the tightly cropped photos apart from Deadpool and his harness, so there’s no telling what the parachute is being used for. However, with a slightly bigger budget one could expect some bigger stunts along with it — plus, Deadpool in the sky sounds like a welcome aspect to the sequel. It should also be noted, that it’s unknown whether or not Ryan Reynolds is the one performing the stunt.

Production on the project is currently underway and expected to last until September. John Wick co-director David Leitch is at the helm, working from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the writers behind the first Deadpool movie.
The film stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers/Cable, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapicic as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Shioli Kutsuna, Julian Dennison and Jack Kesy as the film’s villain (rumored to be Black Tom Cassidy).
Deadpool 2 is slated to hit theaters on June 1, 2018.
