Last week, it was reported that Henry Cavill will no longer play Superman in Warner Bros. DC films. Now, Deadpool 2 star Rob Delaney has thrown his own hat into the ring as a possible candidate to play the next Superman.
While Warner Bros. issued a statement explaining that no decisions have been made regarding future Superman films in response to the reports on Henry Cavill’s future as the character, a number of fans have already been suggesting potential successors. Delaney posted a message on his official Twitter account in which he suggests himself to play the next Superman and included a GIF his Deadpool 2 character ‘soaring’ through sky.
