‘Deadpool’ Writers Reveal Involvement With ‘X-Force’

We recently found out that a sequel to Tim Miller’s Deadpool is already in the works over at 20th Century Fox following the movie’s massive success at the box office, but fans have been wondering whether or not we’ll ever see a potential R-rated X-Force movie.

It’s all but confirmed at this point that the Merc with the Mouth will make an appearance in the movie if the project ever sees the light of day, since Ryan Reynolds recently said that a X-Force movie is his priority. However, it sounds like he won’t be the only one from Deadpool who will be involved in the project.

In a recent interview with The Playlist, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote Deadpool, revealed that they’re going to be part of every project that features the character, including X-Force. Here’s what they had to say:

We will have a hand in it. I think everything that ‘Deadpool’ is involved in we will have a hand in and it’s a universe that Ryan [Reynolds] and us are very close to and very protective of, so I do think we would absolutely involved in that franchise as well. If it’s Deadpool related, I think you’ll see some of our fingerprints on that.

What do you guys think? Would you like to see an R-rated X-Force movie in the near future? Sound-off your thoughts in the comment section below.
