Deborah Snyder Discusses Wonder Woman’s Powers

We’ve known for a while now that a few other Justice League members will be making an appearance in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, despite the fact that the movie mostly revolves around the conflict between the two titular heroes. However, seeing as their roles in the movie are very brief, we don’t know how much of their powers we’re actually going to see.

While speaking with Collider at the press junket for the movie, producer Deborah Snyder revealed that some of Wonder Woman’s powers will be saved for her standalone movie. Meanwhile, Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg are only featured in the movie very briefly, so don’t expect to see much from them until Justice League – Part 1:

“I think that Zack and Geoff Johns sat down and outlined these stories, many of them at least. Really, we did a chart with what their powers were, like what Superman’s powers were, and I think you see a little bit of Wonder Woman. So we get a sense of her power but we didn’t want to do too much because obviously Patty’s going to build up to that and we’re going to learn how she discovers her powers in that movie. And then with Aquaman and Flash and Cyborg, those are a little bit more cameo, so you see a little bit that there’s something different but we don’t want to give too much away because we were just in the process, and we still are, of developing those scripts.”

It does make sense that they would like to save some of their powers for their respective standalone movies, but thankfully, we don’t have to wait too long for those, and we’re probably going to see all of the heroes in action in the first Justice League movie, which opens in theaters next November.
