SFX Magazine has revealed four covers for this months issue featuring the street-level heroes of Marvel and Netflix’s upcoming team-up series The Defenders.

While plot details for The Defenders are still under wraps it’s possible we could learn more about the series this week at Comic-Con during the series’ Hall H presentation this Friday at 5:15 p.m. The series follows the heroes for hire including Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) as they put their resources together to take on a mysterious businesswoman named Alexandra, played by Sigourney Weaver. The biggest clue we have so far is that the threat the heroes face somehow revolves around the offices at Midland circle, which happens to be where Daredevil and Elektra (Elodie Yung) discovered the massive hole in the ground in season two of Daredevil.

The new covers spotlight the individual heroes of the cast and as SFX teases on-set interviews with the cast that could reveal more about the new series. You can check them out below

The series will also see the return of many cast members from the Netflix corner of the MCU including Yung as Elektra, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Scott Glenn as Stick, and Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker. Here’s the official synopsis:

“Marvel’s The Defenders” follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.”

The Defenders hits Netflix August 18, 2017. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the series!
