Disney Plus has released brand new photos from the upcoming Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett.

It’s hard to imagine the year coming to a close without a Star Wars project. In lieu of The Mandalorian‘s third season, Disney Plus will be releasing The Book of Boba Fett. The series will see the legendary bounty hunter returning to Tatooine where he takes over Jabba’s throne. Details beyond that are slim, though fans can expect some brilliant action and seedy underworld drama when the Disney Plus series debuts next month.

With the release of the series imminent, Empire has unveiled four new stills from The Book of Boba Fett.

Two of the photos put the focus on Fennec Shand, who joined Boba Fett after the events of The Mandalorian. Working side-by-side, both are taking over Jabba’s throne and the underworld of Tatooine. The third photo shows Boba Fett unmasked, speaking to an unknown associate. The final photo from the Star Wars series shows Jon Favreau on set. Favreau executive produced the latest series and was behind The Mandalorian.

Here is the synopsis for the upcoming Disney Plus Star Wars series:

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, and Kathleen Kennedy are all executive producers on The Mandalorian spin-off with episodes directed by Rodriguez, Favreau, Filoni, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The series stars Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen, and Jennifer Beals.

The Book of Boba Fett will arrive on December 29 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the future of the Star Wars franchise on Disney Plus and the big screen. You can also subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content!
