Marvel’s latest film, Doctor Strange In the Multiverse Of Madness now has an official release date on the Disney Plus streaming service.
Last month Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness was released in theaters. The film has earned well over $879M worldwide, making it Marvel’s highest-grossing non-Spider-Man film released since Avengers: Endgame back in 2019. As with all films, box office returns began to slow down after its initial release and some have wondered when it will be released on home media. While a DVD/Blu-Ray release has yet to be revealed it appears that Disney is ready to let the film begin its streaming run on Disney Plus.
The Streaming Date Is Revealed
In a recent post, Disney Plus’ official Twitter account revealed that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness would be hitting the streaming service sooner rather than later. The latest Marvel film will debut on the service on June 22nd. You can see the full post below:

Directed by Sam Raimi from a script written by Michael Waldron, the Marvel film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stuhlbarg, Rachel McAdams, and Patrick Stewart.
