Over the last weeks Marvel’s Visual Development supervisor and concept artist Andy Park has been releasing images of alternative designs for last year’s Doctor Strange. And the latest is a very intimidating piece of early concept art of the villain Dormammu, which Andy Park shared with the following caption.
“While working at Marvel Studios there’s been a few times we did a quick blast design session as a group to get some ideas out.”30 minutes GO!” This is my 30 minute Dormammu design in the beginning of the project.”

While working at Marvel Studios there's been a few times we did a quick blast design session as a group to get some ideas out. "30 minutes GO!" This is my 30 minute Dormammu design in the beginning of the project. #DoctorStrange #dormammu #villian #conceptart #design #film #marvel #marvestudios #instagood #instaart
This cool and terrifying look of the Dark Dimension creature might have been a little much for a PG-13 film, but we sure are glad we have the chance to have a peek at these creative designs.
