A new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness promo features brand new footage.
The multiverse is going to get even crazier. After the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which caused the multiverse to spin into chaos, Doctor Strange has no choice but to deal with the ramifications of his actions. Yikes. The upcoming sequel will see Benedict Cumberbatch’s good doctor recruiting Scarlet Witch, America Chavez, and the Sorcerer Supreme Wong to go on a journey to stop more madness from penetrating the universe.
The sequel is set to be a complete cameo-fest, allowing the Marvel Cinematic Universe to fold in characters from all across the multiverse. Beyond that, the footage shown has teased our heroes meeting their own doppelgangers – some good, some nefarious. All in all, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is on track to be one of the biggest Marvel films to date.
With the film set to hit cinemas in just over a month, American cinema chain Cinemark has released a brand new promo teasing the upcoming sequel. The brief video features brand new footage, including a new shot at Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch during meditation. Other new shots focus on Mordo and Doctor Strange himself.
Directed by Sam Raimi from a script written by Michael Waldron, the upcoming movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.
