New photos from the set of the upcoming MCU Disney Plus series Ironheart reveal star Dominique Throne shooting scenes in a motion-capture suit.
Suits like the one being worn by Dominique Thorne in the new images are used to replace actors with CG doubles, suggesting the scenes being shot in these photos will involve Riri Williams in an entirely CGI Ironheart suit.
The photos were taken on the Disney Plus series’ set in Atlanta, where filming is being completed on location.
Dominique Thorne’s Mystery Ironheart Suit
In Ironheart, Dominique Thorne plays Riri Williams, a child genius who creates her own suit of high-tech armor inspired by Iron Man.
Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams will make her MCU debut in this year’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, before going on to appear in her own Disney Plus series. Based on images that have surfaced so far, it appears Riri will follow in Iron Man’s footsteps and create multiple versions of her armor over the course of her MCU appearances.
