Doom Patrol season two will be coming to both DC Universe and the upcoming streaming service, HBO Max.

With HBO Max on the horizon as WarnerMedia’s answer for the streaming wars, many have wondered what would happen to the recently launched shows on DC Universe like Doom Patrol. HBO Max held an event on Tuesday and made some huge announcements in regards to what will be available on the service when it becomes available in May.

New original DC shows exclusively for HBO Max were announced and include Green Lantern, Strange Adventures, and DC Super Hero High. The Arrowverse shows and every DC film from the last decade will also be available on HBO Max. In addition, it was confirmed that DC Universe’s Doom Patrol season two will be available on the service. Despite DC Universe shows like Swamp Thing getting canned, Doom Patrol was confirmed for a second season back at San Diego Comic Con. It also looks like DC Universe will be still be available alongside HBO Max.

Here is the synopsis for Doom Patrol:

DOOM PATROL is a re-imagining of one of DC’s most beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities—but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence—and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of TITANS, DOOM PATROL will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.

Doom Patrol stars Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor/Negative Man, Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele/Robotman, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade as Victor Stone/Cyborg and Timothy Dalton as Dr. Niles Caulder/The Chief.

Season one of Doom Patrol is now available on DC Universe.

Doom Patrol season 2 will launch sometime in 2020.
