While its flagship series Titans got an early renewal, we had yet to hear about any further seasons of The DC Universe’s other originals. Are you ready for more of what is arguably their weirdest television series? And likely to get even weirder with the introduction of  Dorothy Spinner as seen in the finale? While it isn’t looking too good for Swamp Thing currently, DC Universe has confirmed during their panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con that they will indeed be bringing back Doom Patrol for a second season. This is it Chief. Hopefully, they won’t be re-casting that character again though.

Are you excited about the second season of Doom Patrol? Are there any characters that you are hoping to see in the next season? Do you think we’ve seen the last of Alan Tudyk’s Mr. Nobody? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.

Doom Patrol is a reimagining of one of DC’s strangest group of outcasts: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman and Crazy Jane. Led by the mysterious Dr. Niles Caulder, they’re called into action by the ultimate hero for the digital age, Cyborg.

Doom Patrol stars Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor/Negative Man, Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele/Robotman, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade as Victor Stone/Cyborg and Timothy Dalton as Dr. Niles Caulder/The Chief.

Season one of Doom Patrol is now available on DC Universe.
