Diamond Comic Distributors reports that Geoff Johns and Gary Frank’s highly-anticipated Doomsday Clock #1 was the best-selling comic book of November 2017.

Last year’s DC Universe: Rebirth special issue revealed that Watchmen character Dr. Manhattan was responsible for altering the DC Universe timeline during the creation of the New 52 continuity. With the promise of bringing Alan Moore’s Watchmen characters into the DC Universe, Johns and Frank’s 12-issue series titled Doomsday Clock became one of the anticipated comic book titles of the year. Now, information provided by Diamond Comic Distributors reveals that the first issue of the series was the best-selling comic book of November while the lenticular cover edition of the first issue placed second.
