Christopher Nolan’s next project will be a World War II film titled Dunkirk and will depict the evacuation of Allied soldiers from the beaches of Dunkirk, France. Now, Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new featurette that offers audiences a behind-the-scenes look at how the filmmakers used the harsh weather conditions to their advantage.
Shot on the same location as the historic evacuation, the production encountered storms as they filmed on the beach. The featurette includes interviews with Nolan, director of photography Hoyte Van Hoytema, and producer Emma Thomas as they explain how the crew handled the weather.
