New ‘Dunkirk’ IMAX Poster Officially Released Online

A new IMAX poster for director Christopher Nolan's World War II film titled 'Dunkirk' has officially been released online.

Director Christopher Nolan’s World War II film titled Dunkirk will tell the story of the Dunkirk evacuation, depicting the historical event from three perspectives: The land, air and sea. Now, IMAX has released a brand new poster for the upcoming film touting the fact that the film was shot using the company’s 70mm cameras.

Dunkirk” opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, the film stars Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance, Cillian Murphy, Aneurin Barnard, James D’Arcy, Jack Lowden, Barry Keoghan and Harry Styles.

Dunkirk will be released in theaters on July 21,2017 and will be presented in digital projection, 35MM, 70MM, IMAX digital and IMAX 70MM.
