Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson has revealed the stars of the upcoming DC movie will be coming to San Diego Comic-Con’s coveted Hall H on Saturday, July 23.
Dwayne Johnson, who stars as the titular antihero in DC’s Black Adam, has taken to Instagram to reveal the film would be putting in an appearance at SDCC this year. In the past, Hall H has hosted some of Comic-Con’s biggest stars and most anticipated panels, often serving as the stage for major announcements from Marvel, DC and other mega franchises.
While a Warner Bros. Discovery presentation has already confirmed – marking the company’s first Comic-Con appearance since the Warner Bros./Discovery merger – Black Adam is now officially joining the party.
‘Black Adam’ At Comic-Con
While little is known of what to expect from the Black Adam panel – and fans should probably expect a few surprises to be saved for the day – SDCC attendees can expect to see Dwayne Johnson put in an appearance alongside other members of the film’s principal cast.
In his Instagram post announcing the Black Adam panel, Dwayne Johnson revealed the film’s panel would be “bringing gifts” for fans. Judging by the Hall H panels of years gone by, it is also likely attendees could be treated to a new look at some footage from the film. Check out the post below:
No other details have been confirmed regarding DC films putting in an appearance at this year’s SDCC, which takes place from July 21-24. It is likely that there will be some kind of appearance from Shazam! Fury of the Gods and DC League of Super-Pets, as these films’ release dates are also fast approaching. However, Black Adam is likely to be the jewel in DC’s crown this year, as the film marks Dwayne Johnson’s entrance to the DCEU.
