In a recent interview, Dwayne Johnson says that the Baywatch movie is "far dirtier" than the TV series was. The movie is out in May.

Dwayne Johnson is a very busy man with several movies on the horizon. One of these movies is the upcoming reboot of Baywatch, which is based on the 1990s TV series of the same name.

Speaking with The Sun, Johnson says that the movie version will be “far dirtier” than the TV show, at least in the sense that there is a lot more skin showing for both the men and women in the film. There’s probably more cursing as well.

“We are far dirtier than the show ever was – obviously the show was a family show on at family time of day – but in the movie we could have been dirtier. I think people are going to be shocked that Baywatch has got dirty – but there are a lot of laughs … We worked hard to make sure the flesh quota was high, there’s more gratuitous boobs, bums, abs, whatever per minute than you can imagine. Plot was important, don’t get me wrong, but so was sorting out our slow motion runs.”

The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, Priyanka Chopra, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Pamela Anderson, and David Hasselhoff.

Baywatch will be in theaters May 26, 2017.
