Dwayne Johnson has shared an intense new black and white behind-the-scenes photo from the set of his upcoming film Black Adam.

It was revealed earlier this week by Dwayne Johnson that his upcoming DC film was entering its final week of production. The film has long been gestating since 2014 and is finally set to wrap up in the coming days, with a release date set for July 2022. Anticipation for Black Adam is through the roof as the DC project is set to introduce the Justice Society of America for the first time on the big screen. Beyond that, fans have been waiting for years to see Johnson take on a superhero role.

In a new Instagram post, Dwayne Johnson shared a behind-the-scenes photo of him on the set of Black Adam, teasing a ‘cutting edge scene’. In the photo, Johnson’s make-up artist is seen putting white tracking dots on his body, most likely for a CGI-heavy scene. The actor also discussed how he’s remained in peak physique for the role and how he’s excited to share the anti-hero with the rest of the world.
