Dwayne Johnson has dropped a new behind-the-scenes look at Black Adam as the DC film continues filming reshoots.
Fans got their first look at Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam during DC FanDome back in October, and more footage from the upcoming film was later featured in DC’s 2022 movie preview earlier this year. The film was initially supposed to hit theaters this summer, but it will now arrive in October due to COVID’s impact on VFX companies.
Reshoots for Black Adam are also currently underway, and Johnson took to social media to show off an awesome black-and-white look at his suit. You can check out the new behind-the-scenes image from Instagram below.

Along with the new image, Johnson also wrote about his strong connection to the DC antihero:
“Intense week of production continues as we put the finishing touches on BLACK ADAM. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of playing some great (fun) characters over the years, but none speak to my DNA more than this antihero known as the man in black, Teth Adam. Rage against the dying of the light. The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change.”
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson as the titular anti-hero, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, and Bodhi Sabongui are also on board in undisclosed roles.
Black Adam is set to hit theaters on October 22nd, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming Dwayne Johnson film, the future of the DC Multiverse, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
