The Fate of the Furious has been dominating the global box office and smashing records ever since its April 14 release. With Dom going to the dark side, the team has to cope and come together in unexpected ways to get their leader back.
One of the unexpected alliance’s Dom’s betrayal leads to is a Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) team-up. So far, many fans have enjoyed Johnson and Statham’s on-screen chemistry and now Johnson has revealed that some of their interactions were unscripted.

After the team comes together, Hobbs approaches Shaw and the two characters have an exchange that leads to Hobbs saying, “With all due respect Captain, when this whole thing is over we’re going to find a location, and I’m gonna knock your teeth so far down your throat you’re gonna stick a toothbrush right up your a** to brush ’em.”
Instead of putting the men at odds, the words lead to Shaw cracking up and Hobbs joining in on the laughter. Answering a fan question on Twitter, Johnson said the laughter was unscripted and was a result of Statham breaking character. You can see the tweet below.
