Elizabeth Tulloch Hypes Up The Start Of ‘Superman & Lois’ Filming

Elizabeth Tulloch teases the start of filming on the Superman & Lois pilot on her social media with a picture of the script.

While Henry Cavill’s future as Superman is uncertain on the big screen, Tyler Hoechlin is getting a chance to play the Man of Steel once again on the small screen. Tyler Hoechlin first appeared as Superman in Supergirl, but has now become and key player in the Arrowverse. In the Elseworlds crossover, we saw the introduction of Lois Lane, played by Elizabeth Tulloch.

After the ending of Arrow, we now look ahead to the future of Arrowverse with a couple of new shows in the pipeline. Green Arrow and the Canaries and Superman & Lois will be the latest additions to the Arrowverse as it continues to expand. A sign of good news is that Superman & Lois has already received a series order by The CW. In Crisis on Infinite Earths, it was revealed that Lois is pregnant with twins, which will lead into the upcoming series. With filming starting soon, Elizabeth Tulloch decided to share the title page of the pilot’s script on Twitter to get fans excited. You can see Elizabeth Tulloch’s tweet below.

Full details on Superman & Lois are under wraps for the time being, but the Tyler Hoechlin series is described as revolving “around the world’s most famous superhero and comics’ most famous journalist [as they] deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.”

The pilot will be directed by Lee Toland Kreiger while the series is written by The Flash showrunner Todd Helbing and be executive produced by Helbing, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns.
