Smallville star Erica Durance will officially reprise her role as Lois Lane in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The fourth season of Smallville broke comic book tradition by introducing Lois Lane in Clark Kent’s life long before he becomes Superman, with Erica Durance in the role of the future intrepid reporter. Erica Durance would go on to portray Lois Lane on Smallville right up until the series concluded with its tenth season in 2011.
Now, Erica Durance will reunite with her Smallville co-star Tom Welling when she joins him in The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths as Lois Lane. Details on what role Erica Durance’s Lois Lane will play are currently under lock and key, though Deadline reports she will appear in multiple episodes of the five-night event.
Crisis on Infinite Earths will finally offer fans details on what Tom Welling’s Clark Kent and Erica Durance’s Lois Lane have been up to since Smallville concluded eight years ago. However, there are reportedly no plans to feature multiple versions of Lois Lane, such as Teri Hatcher’s version, when the Smallville incarnation joins Crisis on Infinite Earths.
