‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’ Set Photo Reveals ‘Smallville’ Star Erica Durance As Lois Lane

A new Crisis on Infinite Earths set photo features Smallville star Erica Durance as Lois Lane.

Smallville‘s Lois Lane is returning to our screens as Erica Durance recently posted a set photo from Crisis on Infinite Earths. The Smallville star will be appearing alongside her Clark Kent, Tom Welling, when the Arrowverse crossover airs later this year. The epic crossover looks to shake up the Arrowverse by including a number of Supermen including Smallville‘s Tom Welling, Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh’s Kingdom Come-inspired Superman.

Smallville star Erica Durance took to Instagram to post the photo of herself heading to the Crisis on Infinite Earths set, saying that she was getting ready to “rock” as Lois Lane. Erica Durance’s Lois Lane was a fan-favorite when Smallville was on the air, so it’ll be interesting to see where she and Clark Kent have ended up when the crossover comes around. The upcoming crossover event has been teased since the very first episode of Grant Gustin’s The Flash, where a newspaper headline from the year 2024 revealed the Barry Allen’s fate was to disappear during a “crisis.” But the fifth season finale of The Flash accelerated this when the original newspaper headline changed the date of the event from 2024 to 2019. To add to this, the seventh season finale of Stephen Amell’s Arrow set up Oliver Queen’s role in the next crossover by having him join the Monitor on a mission to warn other worlds of the crisis, as part of the arrangement Oliver Queen made in order to save the lives of both The Flash and Supergirl.

Crisis On Infinite Earths will span two quarters and consist of ArrowThe FlashSupergirlLegends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. The Arrowverse crossover will launch with three episodes in December before concluding with two additional episodes in January.

DC Universe Debuts ‘Doom Patrol’ Character Posters

Doom PatrolAlong with the premiere of the first teaser for Doom Patrol, DC Universe also debuted a collection of character posters for each of the members of perhaps the strangest team of characters to be adapted in live-action form for DC Comics.

In particular, these new character posters highlight Timothy Dalton's The Chief, Diane Guerrero's Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade's Cyborg, April Bowlby's Elasti-Woman, Matt Bomer's Negative Man and Brendan Fraser's Robotman. These posters each follow unique designs that reflect the nature of each character and tease unique personalities amongst the group as well.
