Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi will reportedly have another villain to face in the upcoming Star Wars series slated for Disney Plus.

Back in December, it was revealed by Kathleen Kennedy that Obi-Wan Kenobi would reunite Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader in “the rematch of the century.” However, that apparently won’t be the only villain Obi-Wan will battle in the series as Making Star Wars reports he will also “fight at least one inquisitor.”

The Inquisitors were first introduced to the Star Wars canon as Jedi hunters in Rebels and have gone onto appear in everything from the comics to Jedi: Fallen Order. After the Obi-Wan Kenobi cast was officially announced, Moses Ingram teased on social media her character will wield a lightsaber in the series, so perhaps she’s playing one of the Inquisitors? Making Star Wars also hinted that Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi will leave the twin suns of Tatooine.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been described as a special event series for Disney Plus, and details on the upcoming Star Wars series are being hidden away on Tatooine. Still, we do know the series will feature a rematch between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith and before their final confrontation in A New Hope.

Directed by Deborah Chow from Joby Harold’s scripts, the series stars Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
