A series of new images from the upcoming Disney Plus Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, offer a new look at Ewan McGregor’s return as the Jedi Master and the series’ new planet, Daiyu.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will see Ewan McGregor reprising the role of the eponymous Jedi Master for the first time since 2005’s Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. While the series is due to open with Obi-Wan in exile on Tatooine, it will see him traveling to other worlds as he contends with the forces of the Empire’s Jedi-hunting Inquisitors, ultimately bringing the Jedi Master back into conflict with his former apprentice turned Sith Lord, Darth Vader. Vader is again played by Hayden Christensen, who also last appeared in Revenge of the Sith.

A series of images from Obi-Wan Kenobi released by Total Film magazine reveal two new looks at Ewan McGregor suited up in the Jedi’s incognito outfit, as well as a glimpse of Rupert Friend’s menacing Grand Inquisitor. The series will mark the first appearance of the Inquisitors in live action, following their introduction in the animated series Star Wars Rebels and subsequent appearances in various comics and the Jedi Fallen Order game. Check out the new images below:

Also teased in the images is Daiyu – the new planet that Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan will visit in the series. Daiyu’s urban landscape takes some visual cues from Hong Kong with its neon-lit streets, hanging lanterns and thriving nightlife.

Here is the synopsis for the upcoming Star Wars series:
