Hello there!

Ewan McGregor Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars Disney Plus The Mandalorian Luke Skywalker

A set video from the upcoming Star Wars series following Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi has found its way online as principal photography begins.

Last week, the cast for the long-awaited Obi-Wan Kenobi series was released, with filming getting underway in Los Angeles this month. The Obi-Wan Kenobi series will utilize the groundbreaking StageCraft technology used on The Mandalorian. Still, based on a recent set video, it appears not everything will be done in “The Volume.”

On TikTok, user VAboi uploaded a video from what appears to be a Tatooine village set for Obi-Wan Kenobi. Tatooine will not be the only planet Ewan McGregor’s Kenobi will visit in the upcoming Star Wars series. The Disney Plus series will also take the Jedi off-world, with a sizzle reel only shown to Disney investors back in December, teasing a watery planet as one of them. You can check out the TikTok of the set below.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been described as a special event series for Disney Plus, and details on the upcoming Star Wars series are being hidden away on Tatooine. Still, we do know the series will feature a rematch between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith and before their final confrontation in A New Hope.

Directed by Deborah Chow from Joby Harold’s scripts, the series stars Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
