The Flash Ezra Miller DCEU

Ezra Miller has been hard at work for the DCEU lately, filming Justice League and now preparing for his solo Flash film. We often hear horror stories and harsh gossip coming out of Hollywood due to set fatigue, usually because the actors face long hours and difficult direction, but that’s apparently not been the case for Miller.

In an interview with Collider, Ezra Miller shared how his experience has actually been quite solid thanks to one man in particular, Geoff Johns, who serves as DC’s President and Chief Creative Officer and lends his talents on set.

“Yes, he’s a good guy to have around. He keeps us full of information and he keeps us from making ignorant mistakes that would upset the fans across the world because you pretty much can’t get someone with a deeper knowledge of this universe than Geoff Johns.”

That’s high praise from someone who has worked with Johns closely in recent months, and Ezra Miller has spent a lot of time catching up on Flash’s numerous comic book ages, which he calls the Silver Age as one of his favorites. This might be heartening to some DCEU critics who think the burgeoning film franchise is moving forward irrespective of the comics and source material, but at least to Miller, it seems these movies are in more than capable hands.

Justice League opens on November 17, 2017, and The Flash is set to release on March 16, 2018.
