When Ezra Miller was first cast as Barry Allen AKA The Flash in the DC Extended Universe, many fans of the “Berlanti-Verse” on CW expressed disappointment due to the fact that actor Grant Gustin has done such a great job on the small screen and there were hopes that he his version of The Flash would be the one on the big screen. Slowly but surely, fans have begun taking a liking to Miller’s Flash and we can expect to see him in both the upcoming Justice League film next year and his standalone film The Flash in 2018 which will be filming soon.
Both actors have praised each other for their versions of Barry Allen, so there’s no animosity between the two of them. Recently, Ezra Miller had the chance to provide a little insight as to if the two would ever get a chance to meet each other. While discussing his upcoming film, he had the following to say about any type of collaboration between the two actors.
“He’s a boss. I can’t wait to see him, eye to eye, adrift in the Speed Force — our eyes will lock and, in that moment, we will both know the truth. What truth? I dare not say.”
Because The Flash deals with multiverses, this could be an interesting development and a very cool way to acknowledge each version of Barry Allen.
