A new image from Zack Snyder’s Justice League reveals a brand new look at Ezra Miller as The Flash in the epic team-up flick.
While it’s been a while since we’ve seen Ezra Miller appear as The Flash on the silver screen, the Scarlet Speedster’s standalone film is finally beginning to pick up speed at Warner Bros. and DC Films. IT director Andy Muscietti was recently revealed to be in talks to helm the feature film centered on Ezra Miller’s The Flash. While Grant Morrison and Ezra Miller himself took a stab at a darker take on the script, the studio ultimately rejected their vision and is instead eyeing Birds of Prey writer Christina Hodson for the job. Hodson was also hired to write the script for DC’s Batgirl project.
Although a standalone film for Ezra Miller’s The Flash may still be quite a ways out, this new image from Justice Leauge could help hold fans over for the time being. You can check it out below.

Creative differences have long plagued The Flash movie starring Ezra Miller. While the project finally seemed to be gaining some momentum with John Frances Daily and Jonathan Goldstein on board, Ezra Miller, who was initially cast as the character in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman began clashing with the directing duo who favored a lighter take rather than the darker vision Ezra Miller had for the character. After months of compromising with each other, the directors who were brought on thanks to their success with the hit film Game Night opted to bow out entirely.
Warner Bros. will now be continuing the trend of bringing over their successful horror directors to the DCEU. First with James Wan’s Aquaman, and David F. Sandberg’s Shazam!, it appears Andy Muschietti will indeed helm The Flash film starring Ezra Miller. Muschietti seemingly confirmed he’ll direct the film recently but first he’ll conclude the IT franchise with IT: Chapter Two this September.

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
