‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ EP Wants To Reboot Deathlok In The MCU

Deathlok could return in a totally new way.

Deathlok Falcon Winter Soldier

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Executive Producer and head writer Malcolm Spellman wants to reboot Deathlok in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel has a large array of characters in ιτσ toy box and it seems that after The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Executive Producer Malcolm Spellman knows who he wants to play with next. “My favorite character, the character I would most love to do next, would be Deathlok.” Spellman told Heroic Hollywood. “But it would have to be right.”

Deathlok was previously in the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and was portrayed by J. August Richards. The series was very strongly tied to the MCU and even had several main characters like Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Jamie Alexander’s Lady Sif appear in cameo roles. But, it appears that if Spellman gets his hands on Deathlok, he wants to reboot the character. When he was told that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. already did a version of Deathlok the producer added, “Yeah. Yeah. Not that Deathlok. A different Deathlok.”
