New set photos from Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney Plus series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier reveal Anthony Mackie alongside a new co-star.
New photos taken on November 20 show Falcon himself, Anthony Mackie in normal civilian attire. Here, we see him alongside a new character portrayed by actress Adepero Oduye. It is unknown what character she will play, but you can see photos of her with Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson down below:

Adepero Oduye’s include Pariah, 12 Years a Slave, The Big Short, Geostorm and the Netflix miniseries When They See Us. She joins Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl and Wyatt Russell among others.
Filming for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has recently commenced, and it marks a new era in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the conclusion of The Infinity Saga. Anthony Mackie’s new series is Marvel Studios’ first of several in development for Disney+. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and the other numerous new series will be part of the overarching story of Phase 4 along with the new films on the big screen.
