Disney Plus has unveiled a new photo of Daniel Bruhl in the iconic Baron Zemo mask for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Civil War introduced Daniel Bruhl’s Baron Zemo as a former Colonel of the Sokovian Armed Forces, who sought to destroy the Avengers from within for their role in the devastating Battle of Sokovia that killed his family. However, Daniel Bruhl’s Baron Zemo did not wear the iconic purple mask the character frequently dons in the comics as part of his costume.
Fortunately for fans of Baron Zemo’s comic book outfit, Daniel Bruhl’s incarnation of the character will wear the classic purple mask when he returns for Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Today, Disney Plus released a special look titled Expanding the Universe that offered fans a new look at The Falcon and The Winter Soldier star Daniel Bruhl with the Baron Zemo mask.

Directed by Kari Skogland from scripts written by showrunner Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker / U.S. Agent.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will debut on Disney Plus in late 2020.
