New photos from the set of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier may have just revealed a key scene involving Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent.
Filming is currently underway on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, a live-action Marvel Studios series revolving around Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes. Wyatt Russell is also on board as John Walker, a character better known to Marvel fans as U.S. Agent, who became the new Captain America after Steve Rogers abandoned the identity in the comics.
Photos from Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and The Winter Soldier set started hitting the internet last week, and the latest batch of snaps tease Wyatt Russell’s debut as the government-sanctioned U.S. Agent. Based on the photos, it appears that the government is using propaganda to put the spotlight on its own Captain America. You can check them out below.
Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is rumored to center on Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes as the former finds himself facing resistance from the United States government and its opposition to him taking on the Captain America mantle.
Directed by Kari Skogland from scripts written by showrunner Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker / U.S. Agent.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will debut on Disney Plus in late 2020. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Wyatt Russell and the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
