Earlier today, set photos revealed the first look at Brie Larson suited up in her Captain Marvel costume only it wasn’t the version fans expected as the suit we saw was a Kree version of the superheroine’s costume.
Thanks to user “BeautifulBasket” in the Marvel fan community on Reddit, we can now imagine what the Captain Marvel suit will look like with the colors seen in the concept art released last year at San Diego Comic-Con.

While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, it seems Larson will appear in the fourth Avengers film in addition to starring in the standalone Captain Marvel film with Jude Law, DeWanda Wise, and Samuel L. Jackson. The solo feature which will take place in the ’90s will be an origin story for the test pilot Carol Danvers who gained super strength and the ability to fly after being caught in an explosion with a Kree device. The project is expected to begin filming next month with Mississipi Grind directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck at the helm.
Avengers 4 is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. Much of the cast of Avengers: Infinity War is expected to return including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautisa, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel as well as Pom Klementieff, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin.
Captain Marvel is slated to hit theaters on March 8, 2019 and will be followed by Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019
