As the premier of The Flash‘s third season speeds closer, casting news for the season’s “villains of the week” are starting to surface online. According to a report from the website Design & Trend, this season will feature a red haired meta-human played by first season Fargo actress, Joey King. As of right now, details on the character the actress will be playing are not yet available, but we do know that she will be in the third episode of the season thanks to some set photos that were put up on Twitter.

King was spotted on the set along with both the shows VFX supervisor Armen Kevorkian and Grant Gustin himself. King is also known for her work in NBC’s Bent, and has appeared in films such as Independence Day: Resurgence, The Conjuring, and Crazy, Stupid, Love among others.
The Flash‘s third season will be delving into the ‘Flashpoint’ storyline, featuring a new timeline thanks to Barry going back in time to save his mother from Reverse-Flash at the end of season two. Although the changes won’t be as extreme as the comic storyline, the basic premise is the same and it will be exciting to see the world we’ve grown to know and love for two seasons turn completely upside down.
Don’t miss The Flash season three when it returns to the air on Tuesday, October 4th, at 8 pm on the CW!
