‘Fate Of The Furious’: Charlize Theron Defends Michelle Rodriguez

Fate Furious Charlize Theron Vin Diesel Art
Fans of the Furious saga are probably well aware by now of the real-life drama behind the scenes of these films. Last year we heard about co-stars The Rock and Vin Diesel not getting along, and this past June franchise mainstay Michelle Rodriguez threatened in an Instagram post to leave the series unless “they decide to show some love to the women of the franchise on the next one.” You can view that full post below:

Now fellow franchise female Charlize Theron is coming to her defense. In an interview with Bravo, Theron talked about how someone who is such an integral part of the saga as Rodriguez deserves all the love that that entails. Check out the full quote below:

“Yeah, I mean, I feel it’s super valid. This is somebody who has been with this franchise for a really long time. And I can personally say I am a fan of the franchise because of her. She’s incredible. She’s incredible. And she’s the heart of that whole franchise.”

This comes after Rodriguez clarified that her comments had nothing to do with fellow stalwart Vin Diesel in a video which you can watch below.

Things are never dull in this film series, but hopefully, Rodriguez’s demands will be met so that “the family” can ride again.

The Fate of the Furious is now available on Digital HD (which includes an extended director’s cut of the film), Blu-Ray, DVD and 4K Ultra HD.
