Final ‘Blade Runner 2049’ U.S. TV Trailer Features Surprise Cameo

Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049 arrives in theaters in just three days and now Warner Bros. has released a final U.S. trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to Ridley Scott’s 1982 science fiction classic.

The new trailer provides fresh details on the story and features a cameo appearance by one of the characters from Ridley Scott’s original Blade Runner film. You can check out the new trailer below!

Edward James Olmos makes a brief appearance in the latest trailers as Gaff, the mysterious character who played a key role in the original film and has a fondness for origami figures. While Olmos confirmed that would reprise his role in the sequel, the newest trailer offers viewers their first look at Gaff in Blade Runner 2049.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for thirty years.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Blade Runner 2049 stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista, Jared Leto and Barkhad Abdi.

Blade Runner 2049 will be released in theaters on October 6th, 2017.
