Finn Wittrock Dons Nightwing Suit For DC Films In Cool New Image

American Crime Story star Finn Wittrock becomes Dick Grayson and suits up as Nightwing for DC Films in a stunning new piece of fan art.

In the DC Comics lore, Dick Grayson eventually moves on from being Batman’s sidekick, Robin, and takes on the name Nightwing to establish his own vigilante identity. While Bruce Wayne has appeared in multiple live-action films, Nightwing has yet to star in one as most adaptations have focused on Dick Grayson’s career as Robin, if the character is included at all.

As many fans wait to see Nightwing join the DC Films universe, Instagram artist Mizuri has shared a cool piece of fan art that shows what Finn Wittrock could look like in full costume as the iconic character. As the artist explains in the caption, the costume created for the image was intended to give Finn Wittrock a “super realistic and gritty look” as Dick Grayson/Nightwing.

Here’s what Finn Wittrock might look like as Nightwing for the DC Films universe!

Do you think Finn Wittrock would be a fitting choice for the role in a live-action DC Films project? How does the costume look on Finn Wittrock? Let us know in the comments section!

In early 2017, The LEGO Batman Movie helmer Chris McKay signed on to direct a film centered on Nightwing. However, there has been little to no word on the status of the project in recent months.

The Nightwing film is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. These projects include The Batman, The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Shazam 2, Supergirl, The Suicide Squad, New Gods, and Aquaman 2.
