Finn Wolfhard teases when fans can expect the return of Stranger Things on Netflix for its fourth season following its production delay.
Stranger Things, like most productions last year, was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Production on the fourth season resumed back in October after principal photography just started. Filming on Stranger Things 4 is still underway, but if COVID never impacted filming, David Harbour revealed the season was originally supposed to hit Netflix early this year.
Some fans are hopeful the next Stranger Things season will still arrive this year now that production is happening again, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. In a recent interview shared by Stranger Things Spoilers, Finn Wolfhard said the next season wouldn’t arrive until next year when asked:
“Season 4? It should be out sometime next year, hopefully.”
