Ron Howard has shared the first look at Chewbacca on set of the upcoming Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story at Pinewood Studios.
The set photo features Joonas Suotomo as a younger Chewbacca checking out the monitors in video village. The film is set to chronicle the young Han Solo, played by Alden Ehrenreich, from years of 18-24 in his life and will include meeting Chewbacca and finding (or perhaps winning) the Millennium Falcon. While Howard has previously shared a few images, trolling fans since he first stepped on set of the project almost three weeks ago, this is the first image from the director that features one of the film’s characters.
