The first look at Stranger Things star David Harbour as the new Hellboy in the upcoming reboot from Lionsgate and Millenium Films has been revealed.
In addition, Lionsgate has also revealed the new Hellboy will arrive in theaters January 11, 2019. Plot details are still under wraps but the reboot — like the previous films from Guillermo Del Toro — will once again be based on the Dark Horse Comic created by Mike Mignola in 1993 about a demonic hero who became the world’s greatest paranormal investigator while combating occult threats for the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense.
UPDATE: Lionsgate has since retracted the release date for the Hellboy reboot, leaving it unclear as to when the film will hit theaters.
