First Official Poster For ‘Beauty And The Beast’ Debuts

The first official poster for Disney’s upcoming Beauty and the Beast has arrived. Josh Gad, who plays Le Fou, debuted the poster on his Twitter account.

The storybook inspired poster features many of the well-known elements from the popular animated film. In the background the Prince’s castle is visible but front and center is famous the rose.

Anticipation for this film is already extremely high. The upcoming live-action version of Disney’s Beauty and The Beast has already broken records, well ahead of its March 17, 2017 release date. Following the release of the teaser trailer, which only showed Emma Watson (Belle) for a short second but the music, nostalgia and infamous castle was enough to get fans excited.

The trailer broke the record for most views within a 24 hour period for a teaser, which was originally held by Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This teaser was watched 91.8 million times in the first 24 hours, passing the 88 million views that the second teaser forThe Force Awakens. 

Beauty and The Beast will be directed by Bill Condon, the film stars Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as Le Fou, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Kevin Kline as Maurice, and Audra McDonald as Garderobe.

Beauty and The Beast will arrive in theaters on March 17, 2017.
