We can all breathe a collective sigh of relief, as Jesse L. Martin, who plays Detective Joe West on The Flash, has returned to the set after suffering a back injury over the summer.
Martin’s injury during the summer hiatus of The CW series meant he was on medical leave, and thus wasn’t able to appear in most of the show’s fifth season. Thankfully, Martin has recovered recently and will be seen back on-screen in episode 15. Down below is an Instagram video from actress Danielle Nicolet (who plays Joe’s love interest Cecile Horton), who along with Candice Patton (who plays Joe’s daughter Iris) shares the first look at Martin back on set of the production:
Glad to have you back, Joe. How do you feel about Jesse L. Martin returning to set? Are you excited for the return of The Flash? Leave your thoughts in the comments!!
