‘The Flash’ Season 4 Reportedly Begins Filming Tomorrow

The Flash Season 4 FilmingProduction on the fourth season of The CW’s hit series The Flash is reportedly about to get underway.

According to HollywoodNorth.Buzz, production on the first episode of season four starts tomorrow, July 4, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Killer Frost herself, Danielle Panabaker has also shared a photo announcing her return to the set. You can check out her post below.

Little is known about the plot of the upcoming season. While the third season finale saw Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) enter the speed force to balance and stabilize it, Keiynan Lonsdale who plays Wally West aka Kid Flash has confirmed Wally will not become The Flash in season four. Candice Patton, the actress behind Iris West has also revealed season four will pick up with a hardened version of Iris now in a leadership role on Team Flash. Clifford DeVoe, a.k.a. The Thinker is also confirmed to be featured as the big bad.

In addition, we also got an interesting tease about a mysterious character coming to the show earlier today. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about the new season when The Flash comes to San Diego Comic-Con later this month on July 20 at 5:10-5:50 p.m. in Ballroom 20.

The Flash Season 4 premieres Tuesday, October 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

DCTV Arrowverse Episode Roundup

Welcome back to the DCTV Arrowverse episode roundup! This week in The CW’s superhero universe, our heroes dealt with victories, goodbyes, and final battles with enemies.

You can check out all of my previous DCTV Arrowverse episode roundups here!

On Supergirl, Kara took on Rhea in a trial by combat and said goodbye to Mon-El, The Flash showed compassion to Savitar, Barry’s hero arc came full circle and Iris saved the day, and Arrow took on Prometheus with the help of friends and foes, and the final moments circled back around to the show’s pilot episode in a nicely done fashion.

The unifying theme for the shows this week is that each superhero took on their enemies without stooping to their level and for at least two of the three shows, certain storylines came to a nice close.

Each episode roundup recaps the show’s main plot points, with a section for commentary. This will be the final episode roundup for the 2016-2017 season.

Let’s get started! Click through the gallery to read through each episode!
