‘The Flash’ Star Danielle Panabaker On The Dominators Threat In Crossover Event

'The Flash' star Danielle Pananaker discusses the threat posed by the metahuman hating Dominators, who will threaten our heroes in a 4-part crossover event.

The Flash

When all four CW superheroes unite for a four-part crossover event, kicking off with Supergirl and ending with Legends of Tomorrow, they will face off against The Dominators. In the comics, The Dominators were a technologically advanced alien species dedicated to eliminating the threat of super powered metahumans and the small-screen version of the alien race will share similar goals to their comic book counterparts. This news will be especially unsettling for The Flash star Danielle Panabaker’s character Caitlin Snow, who is just discovering the extent of her ability to manipulate ice and cold, a power brought about by Barry Allen’s tampering with the timeline at the end of last season.

Speaking to EW, Panabaker discussed the threat of The Dominators and what makes them a unique threat unlike anything Team Flash has faced before.

“The biggest fear for Caitlin and for Team Flash is how powerful they are and how much of an unknown they are. We’re only getting used to dealing with metahumans with these powers that have generally come from the particle accelerator explosion, or Doctor Alchemy, and those are formulas we’re a little more used to. Having these guys come in from who knows where, the biggest question mark for all of them is starting to figure out how they’re going to battle them.”

Fans will learn just how our favorite heroes will deal with The Dominators when the crossover event kicks off with the eighth episode of The Flash season three, airing on November 29, 2016.

The Flash airs on Tuesday at 8:00 pm ET on The CW.
