‘The Flash’ Star Keiynan Lonsdale On The Team’s Reaction To Caitlin Becoming Killer Frost

'The Flash' star Keiynan Lonsdale discusses how the team will react to Caitlin Snow's transformation into Killer Frost in next weeks episode.

The Flash

When The Flash/Barry Allen traveled back in time to save his mother at the end of last season, he later discovered that the cost of altering fate was too high and tried to restore the original timeline. However, Barry Allen soon learned that not everything would be returned back to normal with one of the biggest changes being Caitlin Snow’s newly developed power to manipulate ice and snow. Actor Keiynan Lonsdale, who plays Wally West, spoke to EW about how team Flash will react when Killer Frost fully consumes Caitlin in next weeks episode.

Lonsdale explained how Caitlin’s transformation into Killer Frost presents a different challenge for our heroes than her Earth-2 counterpart.

“People will be pretty worried. Killer Frost from Earth-2 wasn’t a friendly foe. With Caitlin being scared of her powers, that can also be an issue, because when you push something away, the higher the chance of it being able to take over. That increases the fear. I think the team recognizes that and it’s another challenge they have to face.”

Next weeks episode, appropriately titled “Killer Frost”, was directed by fan favorite filmmaker Kevin Smith.
